I fell in love with woodturning after a two day woodturning course. This was in November 2013. Since then my skills have developed with many, many hours spent at my woodturning lathes and taking courses with other highly skilled professional woodturners.
In 2016 I was accepted as an AWGB Approved Tutor. Then in 2017 I was honored to become a member of The Register of Professional Turners.
My work is mainly artistic adding colour and texture to my woodturning, but there still times when the beauty of the wood it’s self is enough.
I’m passionate about woodturning and love seeing the joy that it brings to others when they start woodturning.
From my workshop I now teach one to one and supply woodturning tools from my company Olivers Woodturning to fellow woodturners. I also do club demonstrations and some commission work.
